Summary: Bosniaks are an ethnic group living in southeastern Europe, mainly in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A smaller number live in Croatia.
Obstacles: For many Bosniaks, Islamic identity has more to do with cultural roots than with religious beliefs. Even among most religious Bosniaks, there is a disdain for religious leaders who exercise influence over day-to-day life. Bosniaks have a low opinion of religion, so they seldom will listen to those who tell them about Jesus.
How reach: Most Bosniaks are Sunni Muslim, but historically Sufism played a significant role among them. This might be a bridge to the gospel because Sufis seek a personal relationship with the Almighty.
Pray for church: Ask God to encourage the Bosnian believers in this region and raise up a church planting movement among them.
Pray for p g: Pray that God would grant wisdom and favor to the mission agencies that are currently working among Bosnians. Ask the Lord to call people to go to Bosnia-Herzegovina to share Christ. Pray that God would meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the Bosniaks.

Summary: The Jews have been in Croatia since the third century. Many were killed during the Nazi occupation of Croatia in World War II. Following the war, most of the survivors fled to Israel, so the Jewish population in Croatia today is small. The largest concentration is found in the capital of Zagreb.
Obstacles: While the Jews in Croatia tend to be secular, they maintain a strong Jewish cultural identity. Antisemitism has been increasing and is often perceived as coming from Christians in general.
How reach: The Bible and other resources are available in their language in print and online. Offering these resources could be effective, especially among college and university students.
Pray for p g: Ask the Holy Spirit to give the Jews of Croatia a spiritual hunger. Pray for them to realize their need for the only Messiah. Ask God to counter the growing antisemitism and to demonstrate his love through caring and compassionate Christ followers.
